Preschool Lead Teacher

Seeking Lead Preschool Teacher to work full time in our state-licensed program, Kidstretch.   Kidstretch is owned and operated by Homestretch, a non-profit organization in Falls Church.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and at least 2 years of experience working with young children in an early childhood setting.

The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for the care and education of a classroom of 10 children ages 3 to 5 years-old as part of a teaching team. He or she will help plan and implement the curriculum and assess the needs of individual children. The candidate should excel at establishing positive and productive relationships with children and their families.

The Lead Preschool Teacher will work 40 hours a week (Monday –Friday) and have the opportunity to receive a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K plan and gym membership reimbursement.

 

Qualified Applicants will:
*Have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
*Have at least 2 years of experience teaching young children in an early childhood setting.
*Enjoy working with children 3 years – 5 years of age
*Have current First Aid and Pediatric CPR training
*Be computer literate, highly organized, and professional
